Hey, thanks! Nice repurpose of the camera tripod.

I'd like to ask you about your lap robe but I'll start another thread about that, maybe in the next couple of days.

For those who are space conscious, here’s the most basic, compact/small funnel (channel actually) around. Took a small pice of angled aluminum and flared out one end. Fits anywhere.

Easy to clean with a swipe. Stays in place for the engine oil, but have to hold for the tranny.

Just my two cents

I was going to try buying this off Amazon.co.uk but the shipping was nearly as much as the item! :o

Then I remembered I got things in the shed I can use anyway - funnels with tubes / hoses attached...

Including...

Mothra35, that's to simple, we need to complicate this issue. who would have thought that a funnel post would get over 800 views! on a Ural its the angles that are the issue, engine not to bad, but how about the trans filler isn't that something. and the fd filler just far enough inward to be a problem. while on the fd if i use a long tube its easy to get a ml or two of the thick oil stuck to the inside of the funnel/tube so your short two ml in the fd case. and have to add a ml or two we are talking a eye dropper full of fd oil. man life is tough! :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :boogie: :boogie:

Lmo, funny you said that,i have reverted back to the funnel i used 40 years ago the galvanized flex tube type, even though i have many of the new types that were sold as the ultimate funnel to end all funnels. Also I found that a piece of cereal box card board folded in half and creased to a point works great in a pinch. :boogie:

This thread is a urologists, or animal husbandry, jokefest in the making.

All joking aside how about posting some dimensions on that homemade one. I think it would be fun to pattern it out onto my printer.

I find i pick the less dirt/easier to wipe clean out of my collection. I do find myself envious of the supply of funnels you guys have.
