Any luck with Russian Garage?

Postby jwaller » Wed Mar 02, 2016 9:15 pm

How long does it typically take to receive packages from Russian Garage? I ordered some stuff toward the end of January and they sent a message stating to expect 3 - 3.5 weeks for delivery. That time has come and gone. I looked up the tracking number on the Russian Postal Service tracker and the last entry was February 10. I figured it could take a bit more time to get my order; how long should I wait before I should start worrying? Anyone have experience ordering from Russian Garage?

I have ordered from them. No problems, but slow. Cheap but slow.

Sounds like the problem is the Russian post, not the dealer.

Yeah, that's what I figure. Just wondering about how long the wait will be. That's all.

Bought stuff from there a few weeks ago, it's here. That's Yuri, AKA MASTERSSS on eBay. He ships from Vorenz generally, takes a couple of weeks to get stuff to Moscow, then at least a week to get it through that mess and out of the country then anywhere from a few days to a week to get to your destination (and you will probably have to sign for it). He generally gives tracking numbers. Russia post has a good tracking system and have a version in English. USPS SOMETIMES also tracks the package after it gets to the US, sometimes they won't, but Russia Post will until it they no longer get updates themselves. If there is a problem, it is with the shipper.
