Stolen rig in NC

Postby LawtonLily » Tue Mar 01, 2016 2:04 pm

This is NOT my rig, nor do I know the individual. A non riding friend told me about it. I was hoping the collective would keep an eye out.

I did send an email asking him to join the collective if he is not a member. Hopefully he will post the VIN here and we can do our thing. :foilhead:

Keep watching the listings. Rather unique looking setup, should be easy to spot. If we find it I'm sure we could "negotiate" a good deal with the seller.

boy that sucks. have never seen that rig before. Parkton is not that far away. Will keep an eye out but Urals are such a rarity around here I cannot imagine someone trying to drive it around.

obviously a couple of fuctard(s). The idiots probably think they stole a valuable classic motorcycle that there going to make a fortune selling to some fictitious collector that's in there mind. Boy have they got a surprise coming. The first thing I want to point out though is in 90% of theft cases, it is somebody who you know well. And they have been in that area enough to scout it out before the B&E.
I pray the Ural and other articles will make it home undamaged. And that Karma will repay the low life dirt-bag(s) in full one day.
Hey Folks, I'm looking for a solo Ural motorcycle. Any machine will do. from a Wolf, Solo or just a rig without it's sidecar. drop me a PM

I'll keep an eye out in my area as well.
Last Fall someone stole a 1966 honda cub off my porch. It was a free to me project, so I was more put off by some creep being on my property then the bike being stolen. I seriously considered putting up a sign that read---'to the person who stole the 1966 green Honda cub---I put two box loads of spare parts on the porch, as well as the 6v battery. Please take them. I no longer need them. Thanx' :)

Set it to Peter Bombar as well, for him to keep his eyes/ears out. They may think it is a vintage BMW, and try to go through dealers to figure how much it is worth.

2003 Tourist - lotsa upgrades
2004 Troyka - work in progress

That story, along with photos, really needs to be on the local news broadcasts. The uniqueness of the rig is gonna make it stick out no matter what. Someone between Lumberton and Sanford saw this rig at some point and will remember......if the question is asked in a timely manner.....

.........if you see something that needs doing, just do it........
