BTW - just to warn you, the headers get much hotter!.... :shock:

Learned that at about the age of ten, I think. Still have the ancient scars of Rupp minibike exhaust pipe on the inside my right knee...

Yeah while drying my rig off today I had it running for a few minutes and reached in to dry off the front mud flap and scraped the top of my hand against the header. It's not pretty and I'm not looking forward to how it's going to look in a couple days

That's the reason I wear jeans when riding. A few years ago I touched the exhaust of my HD with my leg, touched it long enough to smell someone cooking pork!

8 weeks 12.000km Oregon - Alaska - Oregon, Engine broke free at 21.000km now in CR 37.000km and counting.
With a DIY foam air filter the rig runs well even in tropical rain. The air box looks then like an aquarium. :moto:
Final drives: 1. at 5000km, 2. at 34.000km(+friction plates)

Next time, try roasting both wrists. If one gets toasted more than the other, then it's probably time to resynch your carbs.
