finally bumped up the height of the spare tire to clear my non-stock jerry can. And decided to try my hand at wire wheel truing after watching a couple youtube videos. Surprising amount of runout, radial and lateral, maybe .3", got it down to .05" or so. Not a job for anyone lacking patience! My Harbor Freight wheel balancer served admirably with my makeshift pointer, pic was after I remounted the tire, good news was that once the wheel was reasonably true it didn't need near as many weights to balance it.
