We are new on the forum, but not new to Urals. We just had a great experience purchasing a 2014 Patrol in Pueblo Colorado at a great dealership. The Ural truck for demo rides and the dealership grand opening was underway the day we showed up and purchased our 2nd Ural. We can't wait for it to arrive from New Jersey.
I hope we can contribute to the forum and enjoy reading it.
Anyone interested in riding Colorado this summer with us, please let us know.

Welcome to the forum. There are a few Co Foilheads here. I'm sure you won't have too much trouble finding someone to foil around with on your new rig.

Welcome  . This is the best way I've seen to get the real deal low down on the Russian Rigs. You will see both the good and the not so good here without any sugar coating.

Hi all,

I recently bought a 1993 Dnepr MT11, which was a non runner, and pretty poor to look at too. Along with a friend (who has a half-share in the bike) we got her running and MOTed, but what started as a misfire has progressed to not running again. This forum looks great, so I'll be posting for advice on ignition coils pretty soon...

Cheers, Olly

here is a old m67, we had a country house near Chelyabinsk(middle Russia, Ural region)

PS that green M67 is stunning. I'd look good on that. :)

Hello out here in Soviet Steads land. I’m taking delivery of a Green Gear Up next week or when it gets ready and prepped by the dealer in Portland. I am looking forward to learning information on this forum to help the ownership experience and maintaining this unit. I am a lifetime motorcyclist and had sidecars in the past so I know a little of what I’m getting into. I’m thinking this would be fun for anybody and maybe old guys who mostly shopped for big performance and horsepower in the past!

Welcome OldSchool. I too am a long time rider like so many here and was looking for something different and more like me (simple) and the Ural seemed to fit the bill. I say it often and I experience it every time I kick my rig to life......."I haven't smiled this much behind a set of handlebars since I was a teenager!" I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine and remember....pics or it never happened

Welcome OldSchool. I was young in 2007 when I bought my rig new. Over the last 8 years of ownership I have aged twice as fast as I should have, damn bike!

Just kidd'in. You will love it.

What year?

Thanks JohnBG,
I'm a returning Ural rider. Having sold my first one (early 90s model) back in 2000. However I hadn't given up riding hacks. My latest on I sold being a 2013 Triumph Scrambler with a Velorex hack. I just picked up a 2013 Gaucho Rambler form Heindl Engineering LLC. from Eaton, Oh just a week and a half ago. I've logged 1,283 km on her so far.

Mods and Maintenance:
45 pilot jets
130 main jets
Catalyst remover from center extension exhaust pipes
Tachometer Brake peddle extended by 1-3/4"
Right foot peg extended 2" to the right
Foam padding added under the tractor seat cover
Hydraulic steering damper
Dry lubricant added to all exterior moving parts
Silicone spray added to shock joints and sprayed on engine cases and other cast aluminum to prevent corrosion.
Re-grease neck bearings and adjustment
Tow in on car to achieve straight line performance a 55mph
All fluids changed at 500 Km Replaced with Lucas oils

I also ride;
2013 Moto Guzzi V7 Racer
2012 Triumph Thruxton
2009 Yamaha Roadliner 1900 Midnight
2003 Triumph Bonneville T100
