Re: flasher replacement on 2006 Ural Patrol

Agreed with Rougaroo. Easiest way is to unscrew the two bolts holding the headlight. I would suggest marking the angel of the headlight with some tape so your not playing around with the height when your done.

Re: :SOLVED: 2016 GU lost a cylinder today. Towtrucks are expensive!

wow, I can't believe that's what happened. You might want to still check the fuel injector on the right side though. Logically speaking the only way this could have happened is if you had combustion during the exhaust cycle or something. The exhaust valve was being forced closed from the cylinder bu...

gobium has a really good video on Youtube on how to test the EFI injector. You should make sure the injector is actually delivering fuel to the cylinder as well.

Re: Super Bright LEDs Sale

Anybody have a list of what bulbs go where on the Ural. I mean 1156 fits the main brake light, 1157 for sidecar tail/brake light, type of info? Also does anyone know if the LEDs for the indicators in the gauge can be changed out for brighter one, I find in sunlight I can't see a single one of them....

Good luck. I think she likes them more than her old doggles but still scratches at them when we're stopped. I'm starting to think my dog hates wearing anything.

Re: How not to ride a Ural....

Hi Bendog, I think if you get a good screw extractor kit you should be able to get the peice that broke off out. Depending if the threads are stripped you might want to get a die and tap kit to retread the header. I'm guessing you'll need a new valve cover and bolt. I would suggest driving to UralNE...

Mucho thanks tank4all, that's the same one I just received from superbright led...that's great. I asked, but they wrote back that it's polarity sensitive. They fibbed... I'm good then :boogie: So it's a plug & play...I like that  I guess it's a non-issue :D Not exactly a true plu...

Re: Rear brake elect polarity

Lew... "That said... a light bulb really doesn't care which direction the electrons come from; when the circuit is completed, the light comes on." This much I know. Reason I'm asking is because I want to install an 1157 (double contact) LED bulb for rear light & with flash for the bra...

I think your co-pilot is going to be really happy. Start her slow though.
