Depends, how handy are you with a wrench? [emoji38] Very. Sounds like you're saying there are some significant reliability problems? Sent from my LGLS992 using Tapatalk Any 12 year old vehicle can have issues, Ural more likely that others. That said they are basic as a lawn mower and easy to diagno...

Re: Paper vs metal (sintered bronze) fuel filter

the nylon mesh filters on the intake tubes are probably sufficient. any additional filter is just icing on the cake. that said I use a couple of the little conical sintered bronze ones cuz the look nice. They're rated 40-60 microns. I think paper filters are about the same.

Awesome almost free trunk light

Harbor Freight just came out with these, and I found a couple "free with any purchase" coupons for it. Very bright, the velcro on the back is a little cheezy but not a deal breaker. With the sparse daylight now it is coming in handy. I tried a couple lights in the trunk and this is by far ...

Re: What did you do to your Ural today?

finally bumped up the height of the spare tire to clear my non-stock jerry can. And decided to try my hand at wire wheel truing after watching a couple youtube videos. Surprising amount of runout, radial and lateral, maybe .3", got it down to .05" or so. Not a job for anyone lacking patien...
