Re: Holopaw Gene is still in business and is the best!

Marty- Did you have your bike @ Gene's back in mid-February? Pretty sure he pointed it out to me while I was waiting for my final drive to have it's spline replaced. Great guy. And he has a great dog. Plus he let me ride his bike, since he didn't have any CT's for me to try out. The efi and lowered...

As we know, most Ural dealers are small operations and if you have a good dealer that you respect and trust, then by all means support them. Give them your business. Good Dealers need good customers. Show your support.

Holopaw Gene is still in business and is the best!

So I stopped by a local Orlando Co-Operative motorcycle shop to discuss with a mechanic getting some work done on my 1976 Yamaha XS650C. I want to upgrade my charging system and a couple of other things that need attention. While there, I'm speaking with a couple of mechanics and I knew they had a U...

Re: My friend Scott K in CO (city on the side)

Kudos to taking the leap in this business venture! For folk who never experienced riding in a sidecar, what a great opportunity. So what if the news clip is fluff, if it gets the word out and hopefully it will help drum up business...

Re: How do I remove the spare tire from the trunk mount?

If your going to put the spare on ( Drum wheel) be sure to take off the plastic scratch protector that's on the backside of the drum. Wheel won't mount with it left on.

The Yamaha petcock will fit on the,"bung" on the older vacuum set up. It did it on my old 2005 Patrol.

Re: VACUUM PETCOCK!

Petcock lever pointed down= main. Petcock lever pointed up= reserve Petcock lever halfway (3'Oclock)= on/no vacuum freeflow. Drain tank, remove petcock, clean mesh area of debris. Or.... Get a Yamaha manual petcock ( part number found on this forum) and get a rubber cap to cap off vacuum intake on l...

Re: 2006 Gear UP Tire Pressure???

32 front and sidecar. 40 for rear. And check them very regularly as they will leak. Check your fluids as well regularly. Got over all nuts and bolts. Tighten snug. Never like Hercules.

Re: So hot in Ohio today

Summer in Florida I ride at Dawn till around 11:00 a.m. Too hot after that till evening. Sitting in traffic with a hot engine under me is not my idea of fun. Been seriously considering spending my summers up north.

Re: Congratulations, "City on the Side"

It's for the tourist crowd I would think. For someone who has never been in a sidecar let alone a Ural, IMHO it's an opportunity of an experience. I agree eight hours is a long day but if it's broken up with stops and exploration, maybe it would be pleasant? My hats are off to them to take on this v...
